duh

i find women to be one very confusing bunch.

1) i have female friends who adore their boyfriends but will sharpen their knives at the slightest suspect of infidelity BUT they adore that bummer from The Bachelor cos a) he's good-looking and b) he's rich (but heck, it's inheritence!). The smell of irony is so prevalent here. Here, you have this bum who openly snogs all women who befalls upon him and YET they ALL adore him. talk about double standards. what baffles me is how the heck their sentiments could change over a celleloid figurine parading on TV but they cannot judge the same mantra upon their own partners? does it mean guys who has a low capita and does not make heads turn deemed to the santuary of "Thou shall be loyal to me at whatever cost"?

2) i hate this Women's Right charter thing that has been going on for ages. Not hate as in HATE, but hate as in disbelief. Here we have women bragging their rights for equality at work and in social circles. And now the law is getting upon this too. And i hate to have this sense that they ar taking advantage of this loophole. To touch a women without concession is deemed as "molestation". How many more cases of "molestation" must there be trialed upon in order for their voices to be heard? If the charter deems that they have a right to be protected on all cases, where is the equality then, when that is the main reason why the charter is conceived? If the women stands that she has a right share of all equality in all aspects of life, then let the man free if he doesn't respond to the calls when he is not in the mood, or he is not being romantic enough, or that he does not appear as that prince charming in shiny armour that they have dreamed of. This may seem minute compared to the daily struggles (which were brought up by them in the first place) of the modern women, but still, does the man has his own right too not to respond to their demands? talk about equality. pffft.

in the end, if equality is what women dreamed of, then be prepared to take the brickbats of the same proportion of shite.
